Use of Multi-criteria Analysis for Evaluation Cableway Project Efficiency

This thesis investigates the cableway project in the city of Vsetín. The theoretical part is describing the city, it’s demographic trends and also changes in the image of the city. The practical part is dealing with the abovementioned cableway project and is divided into several parts. The introduction is focused on a multi-criteria assessment of particular options of the cableway and fallowing a multi-criteria assessment of transport services in the housing development Sychrov. The multi-criteria assessment is carried out by some of variant calculations in order to specify the importance of criteria, weighting for criterion and calculation methods. This is followed by an assessment of the efficiency of transport links by the Cost Benefit Analysis – CBA method. This method is aimed to determine the most effective way of passenger traffic and to recommend an optimal option in consideration of not only incomes but also costs and contribution to beneficiaries, which are an important part of public projects.
Transport service at Central Bus Station Brno

The bachelor thesis deals with transport service at Central Bus Station in Brno and its connection to public transport hub in front of the Brno Main Railway Station. In the first chapter, the work deals with counting of passengers and a survey by questionnaire. The next section describes the current status and the possibilities of access on foot, by public transport or by car to the bus station. Followed by a proposed conventional and unconventional solutions to the problems and their comparison. As the best came out conventional solutions - implementation of the new bus line, respectively, the move of bus stops near the bus station.

Possibilities of using unconventional transport

This thesis deals with the use and options of personal unconventional transport in Czech Republic and in the hole World. In my thesis, I describe from history of unconventional , throught cable ways in Czech Republic until unconventional technology in the Word. Main goal is analyzing unconventional transport vehicles in the World, determine their advantages and decide, if unconventional transport is profitable or not. In other part I attend with the The Pillar-track Regional People Mover. Final part is devoted to evaluation of the project due to road, train personal transport in the country and also to evaluate my survey, how unconventional transport as perceived by viewers.
Unconventional vehicles in public transportation in Prague

This thesis deals with the current situation of unconventional vehicles in public transportation in Prague. It includes historical excursion with a detailed overview and outlook for the future with proposals for improvements and expansion of these means of transport. Representatives of the category of unconventional vehicles in Prague are three cableways (to Petřín, to Mrázovka and in the zoo) and five ferries (Lahovičky - Nádraží Modřany, Kotevní -- Císařská louka -- Výtoň, Lihovar -- Veslařský ostrov, V Podbabě -- Podhoří a Sedlec -- Zámky). All five lines of ferries, as well as a funicular to Petrin, are fully integrated into the metropolitan transportation system.
